Pick-Up: We will collect the participants from their hotel in the morning.
1st stop: Potamies
Our adventure begins in the charming and verdant village of Potamies, a true gem of Crete. Here, we'll dive into the heart of the island's traditional way of life with a visit to a local a working farm and learn about the life of Cretan farmers and shepherds.
But the experience doesn't stop there! We'll also get a glimpse into the fascinating art of cheesemaking. See the transformation from fresh milk to creamy cheese, and the passionate techniques used by local artisans.
And the best part? You get to savor the fruits of their labor! Enjoy a taste of the freshly made cheese, a delicious reward after witnessing its creation.
2nd stop: Aposelemis
From the charming village, we'll journey onwards to the Aposelemis Dam, a marvel of modern engineering and the lifeblood of Crete. This impressive dam is the island's largest water source, ensuring a steady flow for homes and businesses throughout the region.
As we approach the dam, a poignant sight awaits. The village of Sfendili, once a vibrant community, now rests beneath the water's surface. A few rooftops and remnants of old houses peek through the clear water, a silent testament to the village's history.
But the dam also fosters new life. The surrounding area has transformed into a natural wetland, a haven for a diverse variety of birds. Keep your eyes peeled – you might spot some feathered wonders making their home here!
3rd stop: Embassa gorge
Our adventure takes an exciting turn as we switch to rugged dirt roads and ascend towards the Embassa Gorge. The journey reaches its peak at the awe-inspiring Embassa Gorge, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. But the fun doesn't stop there! This is your chance to become a Cretan herb enthusiast. 4th stop: Lassithi Plateau
Our Cretan odyssey continues as we reach the Lassithi Plateau, a vast and fertile expanse nestled amidst the mountains. Here, you'll have the chance to choose your own adventure:
- Descent into Myth: Embark on an optional visit to the legendary Cave of Zeus, said to be the birthplace of the mighty king of the Greek gods. Explore the caverns where Zeus supposedly spent his childhood, and delve deeper into Crete's rich mythology.
- Panoramic Relaxation: If you prefer to soak in the beauty of the landscape, simply relax and take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the Lassithi Plateau.

5th stop: Krasi village
Our adventure concludes in the picturesque village of Krasi. As you step into the village square, you'll be greeted by the sight of cascading fountains and the majestic presence of ancient plane trees. These towering giants, some reaching a staggering 2,000 years old, stand as silent guardians of the village, their imposing stature a testament to the rich history of Crete. Among them is even the oldest plane tree on the entire island, a true natural wonder.

End of the tour Return to resorts:
After boarding the vehicle, participants will be transported back to their respective hotels.
